Colin Simpfendorfer

Dr Colin Simpfendorfer is an elasmobranch researcher with experience working academia (JCU, UTas), government (WA Fisheries Department) and a private laboratory (Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, USA). His research focuses on providing science to improve the management of sharks and rays globally. He is a past Co-Chair of the IUCN Shark Specialist Group, and a current member of Australia's Threatened Species Scientific Committee.
